COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Genesis Homes works to support our youngest residents by encouraging success in school and out of school activities. We are honored to partner with the Girl Scouts to support a local troop throughout the year. We also implement an Education Encouragement program that provides back to school supplies for "Genesis Kids," children who reside in Genesis Homes housing.
SENIOR PROGRAMMING
Our senior residents benefit from enrichment opportunities such as Senior Day Out and holiday luncheons. Our Community Engagement staff work to make sure our elder residents are able to enjoy their homes and community.
RESOURCES FOR RESIDENTS
Genesis Homes supports residents by working with other nonprofits to provide a network of resources. Our Community Engagement work is more than just case management, we ensure residents have the tools to succeed.
SUPPORT COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WORK
Our Community Engagement work is in addition to our affordable housing construction and management and requires separate funding and support. This work is critical to ensuring our residents not only have a safe and affordable place to live, but are able to connect to resources and focus on longterm financial stability.
